Sponsor | ferretsgames | May 7, 2:13am | Is it just me or does anyone else find Google slow and buggy today?
At the moment I cannot access my gmail account or do a google search. |

 Sponsor | ferretsgames | May 7, 2:44am | I just tried to google Google.com, it is stuck 'Waiting for google.co.uk [google.co.uk]'.
The gtalk sign in just keeps trying to connect and my gmail notifier log in fails. |

Sponsor | ferretsgames | May 7, 3:25am | It is very odd, google seemed to be off line for a while.
I could not access any websites or gmail, only SU and even then pages were not fully loading.
I just rebooted for the fourth time and everything seems fine now.:) |

Sponsor | northpaw | May 7, 7:38am | Google has gone completely offline for me about a half dozen times in the past two weeks or so. It usually only lasts for a couple of hours, but it's still aggravating.
Interestingly, Google usually runs on multiple IP addresses, and often one of the others works. In Linux, I can type dig google.com and get a list of the addresses. I paste the second or third into the Firefox address bar and voila - there's Google. Then I bookmark that page and use it while the main site is down.
Edit: Here is an online "dig" search. You can enter google.com to get the three addresses. |
